Tim is an associate specialising in intellectual property and commercial law. Tim advises clients in the digital media, leisure, design and entertainment sectors, in relation to copyright, trade mark, domain name and design law matters.
Tim’s practice has a strong contentious focus, advising clients in relation to the defence, protection and enforcement of their intellectual property rights. Tim advises clients in respect of High Court litigation and also contested office decisions, inter partes oppositions at both the UK IPO and EU IPO. Tim’s practice also extends to non-contentious matters including advising clients on intellectual property acquisition strategies, licensing agreements, and contractual arrangements.
Tim graduated from Nottingham University before studying the GDL and LPC at BPP Law School in London. Tim joined Hansel Henson in September 2017 after completing his training contract with Olswang LLP.
