Deborah is a trade mark paralegal who assists in the management of our client’s worldwide intellectual property portfolios.

Prior to joining Hansel Henson in October 2020, Deborah has worked in the Law industry for the last eight years, with 6 of those focused on Intellectual Property at a London sports and entertainment law firm and more recently an Oxford based intellectual property firm. She has gained valuable experience and a broad understanding of filing and prosecution of global trade marks, registered designs and domain name registrations across many sectors including media, cosmetics, restaurants and retail. Her interests lie particularly in the areas of media and cosmetics law, where so many clients are highly innovative in their use of trade marks.

Before pursuing a career in IP, Deborah worked in various industries in the UK, New Zealand and Japan, which gives her a varied skill set and diverse cultural knowledge to assist with the firm’s work across the globe.
