Hansel Henson advises uTure on gaming talent show

Hansel Henson are delighted that the uTure global competition show to find the next gaming content creator has now launched.  The competition, whose lead sponsor is YouTube Shorts, is the creation of leading British YouTuber Ali-A, and we have advised on the various legal aspects of the creation and launch of the show.

Ali-A has more than 25 million subscribers across his YouTube channels and specializes in gameplay videos of “Fortnite” and other titles.  He has brought together a diverse, international panel of judges who are fellow gaming content creators. It’s not just a $100,000 prize that will be attracting budding content creators, but also the mentoring offered to finalists by Ali and his fellow judges.

Following the month-long application phase, the top 10 contestants will be pitted head-to-head in weekly episodes, each bringing a fresh challenge. The judges will score each contestant as well as provide feedback to them.  Viewers will be able to vote for their favourite contestants at the uture.show website.

uTure brought together several of Hansel Henson’s key areas of expertise in advising on gaming, IP, sponsorship and sport. However, given their connection to the competition, the Hansel Henson team advising uTure (Sarah Wells, David Hansel and Joseph Doughty) are not allowed to enter.
